The Latest News/Upcoming Events****ATTENTION PLAYERS, PARENTS & Coaches****
FALL BASEBALL We are still looking for several more players at the Majors (11/12) level to make 2 full rosters. If anyone is still interested in signing up a player, please contact Mark Zunich at info@mcllpa.com. Coach Pitch – 7 & 8 year olds Minors - 9 & 10 year olds Majors - 11 & 12 year olds Junior - 13 & 14 (+/-) year olds Ages are based on the player’s 2009 Little League age – the player’s age on April 30th, 2009. The fall baseball program is designed to give players a head start on the 2009 season. First time Manheim Central Little League participants must bring a copy of their Birth Certificate. All levels will travel. Historically, the county is divided into northern and southern regions and we have mostly played teams such as Warwick, Cocalico, Ephrata, Garden Spot, etc.; however, we do have the potential to play any Little League Program in Lancaster County. Practices are tentatively scheduled to begin the week of August 18th – with two weeknight practices scheduled throughout the season for each team. Games will be held on Saturdays and are tentatively scheduled to begin on September 6th. The season will run through the end of October.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to the victims, families and students at Northern Illinois University and Virginia Tech University after these senseless tragedies.
